I always avoided mirrors, tried not to look at my reflection, and made sure I was never in photos. Nothing seemed to work after hitting my 40s. I was convinced it was a slow metabolism and destined to remain obese. When I joined I never felt out of place, I felt like it was a ‘safe zone’. I wasn’t judged. A year later I’m down over 45 lbs!
