Hello, my name is Erik, I’m head trainer and owner of Iron Fit. I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX but I have lived in San Antonio, TX for over l0 years. Today, at 35 years of age I’m a dedicated fitness professional with over 15 years’ experience with a mission to educate and motivate ordinary people like you and me to achieve extraordinary health and fitness results.

For as long as I can remember I have been active, playing sports, running, and just enjoying life to the fullest. Although I loved to compete in athletics, I didn’t have that “LEAN FIT” look I was after. I was more of a “skinny fat” guy who had trouble with weight management and body composition. In my early twenties, I became obsessed with health and fitness, putting together structured, effective exercise routines that Burn Fat and Build Muscle! I tried every fitness program, nutrition strategy, and even wasted thousands of dollars on worthless supplements, in my early years. I learned that the fitness and nutrition industry is saturated with false promises, misleading information, scams, and over-hyped products. I’m here to separate the Bro Science from Real Exercise Science. The real science that gives you extraordinary results is simple, much simpler than the nonsense we hear on television, social media, and magazines.

I developed Iron Fit Circuit training for one reason – Delivering Results! The program gives you all the tools you need to be successful in your fitness journey, without all the non-sense. I take all the guesswork out of it; I know what works and what doesn’t. Our training philosophy and principles are nothing new or revolutionary, you’ve just never put them all together like how I’m going to teach you. Most people have it all wrong.

Not only do I have the experience and knowledge to help you, I’ve gone through the same struggles you have. I know how it feels to be overweight, skinny fat, stressed out, and hopeless. I’ll be completely honest with you. When I first opened Iron Fit in 2014, I was having trouble finding a balance between my work schedule and keeping myself fit. Then, I severely injured my back causing me to be out of the gym for almost a year. The combination of stress, injuries, and excuses led to me gaining a little over 30 lbs. of fat. I saw everything I worked so hard for diminish in weeks. I was disgusted with myself, I hadn’t been this out of shape since my freshman year in college. I knew it was going to take some hard work, clean eating, and some serious dedication to get back the body I had for over 10 years.

So in 2015, I set a goal for myself and started my own 12-Week Transformation Challenge. Here are the results…
