My name is Forrest Folen, and today I’m proud to say that I’m the owner of the Way of Life boot camp, a training program and community with multiple locations across Northern and Southern California which has helped hundreds and hundreds of people get into shape, reach their goals, and learn a new, healthier mindset and lifestyle.

However, it took me reaching rock bottom to change my own life, and that’s when my grandmother gave me the best advice I’ve ever received, at a time when I was miserable, extremely out of shape, and also out of money with no place to live, seemingly stuck in a dead-end life. She told me, “If you take care of your BODY, your BODY will take care of your MIND. And if you take care of your MIND, your MIND will take care of your LIFE.” Those words helped to change my life forever, and remind me of the path I always knew I had wanted to take since I was a young child. I always wanted to help empower people, and help them improve their lives.

That’s why I created Way of Life, and that’s why it has been so successful for so many people. Although I wanted to help the community lose weight and get in shape, I couldn’t make the kind of BIG impact I wanted to make without some help. That’s where Anthony Steel entered the picture. Once depressed and over 300 lbs, Anthony turned his life around and in doing so gave him the ability to inspire anyone he came into contact with.
